Bau Bang district’s Steering Board of Food Safety, on April 10, organized a plan to realize the Action Month for Food Safety 2017 under the theme of “Safe production, trade and consumption of safe vegetables and meat; Controlling alcohol, preventing alcohol poisoning and ensuring street food safety”.
The plan will be implemented from April 15 to May 15. Accordingly, the district will speed up propaganda work via many forms; organize training courses on food safety; grant licenses to facilities meeting conditions on production and trade of safe food…; tighten control over food producing and trading facilities; seriously handle wrong cases on food safety to protect customers’ rights and interests and raise awareness of the Law on Food Safety among food producers and traders.
Le Khac Tri, Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People’s Committee cum Head of the district’s Steering Board of Food Safety also asked for the local functional agencies to have close coordination in order to well realize the Action Month for Food Safety 2017, boost propaganda work to enhance public awareness of food safety and seriously tackle organizations, individuals violating the Law on Food Safety.
