Activities in celebration of great holidays in 2019

Early October 9, provincial Steering Board of great holidays approved a plan on the organization of activities in celebration of great holidays and the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019, which was presided over by Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council, Head of the Steering Board. Also attending the event were Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Propaganda; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, members of the Steering Board together with leaders of sectors and departments in the province.

In 2019, the province will organize plenty of practical activities to introduce the local achievements on socio-economic development, security and national defence. They include a seminar on Binh Duong-22 years of development; the 20^th BTV cross-country tournament-Number One cup 2018; a special art performance and a firework display in celebration of the New Year 2019 and the 22^nd anniversary of Binh Duong’s development; activities in celebration of the 89^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 44^th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day…In celebration of the Tet festival 2019, there will be a spring flower market, a spring flower festival and a spring newspaper festival in TDM city; activities decorating streets; get-togethers and policies for policy beneficiaries.

Addressing the meeting, Mr.Canh required the Steering Board to have well-prepared steps for the above-mentioned celebrations so that they can take place safely and economically, well meeting the demand for entertainment of people in and out of the province. He said that Bach Dang Flower Street in TDM city’s Phu Cuong ward should be maintained while other celebrations should be held in the area of provincial administrative center…
