Activities in information and communication develop strongly

On the afternoon of January 5, provincial Department of Information and Communications (DoIC) held a conference to review its activities in 2022.

With the attention and direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications, provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, in 2022, the province’s activities in the field of information and communication will continue having strong development, especially in the work of information, propaganda, application of information technology, digital transformation. Province-based press agencies operated in accordance with the principles, purposes and orientations of the Government and the province; promptly informed and propagandized tasks on socio-economic development, major events and holidays of the country and the province; fast and accurately informed of the situation and prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the province; opportunely reflected the reality of life, thoughts and aspirations of people from all strata, contributing to orienting public opinions, creating consensus in the society and promoting the local image.

In 2023, in addition to consulting documents on directing, operating, and advising provincial People's Committee to submit them to provincial People's Council for approval on digital transformation, economic and technical norms for printed and electronic newspaper activities using the local State budget... Provincial DoIC will strengthen inspection and supervision of press and publishing activities, promptly detecting violations to remind, correct and handle in accordance with the law. Besides, the Department will advise provincial People's Committee on holding monthly press conferences to provide information on the local socio-economic situation; continue coordinating with provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission to implement regulations on coordination in the direction and management of press agencies...

The conference rewarded outstanding collectives and individuals in the tasks of the sector and Covid-19 prevention and control.
