The 17th National Week on labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention 2015 in Binh Duong province has been launched with the theme on “Each business, employee actively implementing prevention measures of occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and fire prevention to protect themselves, businesses and society”.
According to the Steering Committee, the campaign of this year is to catch attention, specific actions of authorities, associations, businesses, and employees regarding labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention; simultaneously, to raise employers and employees’ awareness of labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention, enhance activities improving working conditions at workplaces, contributing to sustainable socioeconomic development.
Youth Union members performed propaganda actions in response to the 16th National Week on labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention 2014.
The Steering Committee also required that activities under the campaign must ensure practicality, efficiency, avoid formalism, focus on businesses and labors in order to make real changes from all levels, sectors, employers, employees, and society to join hands in ensuring labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention at workplaces.
Activities under the National Week included: promoting propaganda, guidance on labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention; organizing sports festivals; inspecting labor safety and hygiene - fire prevention at businesses; visiting victims of labor accidents and occupational diseases.
