The Youth Federation of Lac Ac commune in North Tan Uyen district has just held a ceremony to mark the 58th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) (October 15, 1956-October 15, 2014) and the 100th anniversary of hero Ly Tu Trong’s birthday (October 20, 1914-October 20, 2014).
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese people and the development of the VYF over the 58 past years. Over the past time, Lac An communal Youth Federation put forward a lot of goals and measures for better development; well realized preferential policies for young people; effectively implemented voluntary activities for social welfare…; especially promoted great campaigns, namely “Five voluntary things for national construction and defence”, “Youth with creativeness”….
On this occasion, Lac An communal Women’s Union held a food fair together with many other recreational activities for the local Youth Union members. The communal People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 5 individuals for their excellent performance in activities of the local Women’s Union.
