On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of War Invalids and Social Affairs (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2015), provincial Veterinary Sub-Department and its Youth Union have just held a delegation to visit and present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Bui Thi Da, born in 1923, now residing in Tan Uyen town.

The delegation extended best regards to the mother and gave her a gift worth VND1mln plus VND1.5mln for maintenance in quarter 3 with a hope that she would live joyfully and healthily to continue being a bright example for descendants to follow.
*On the evening of July 25, Ben Cat town’s Youth Union, Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Center for Culture and Sports co-held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs at town’s Martyrs’ Cemetery with the participation of more than 500 Youth Union members and pupils.
The ceremony aimed to express the moral principles of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Paying debt of gratitude” by young people to those who laid down their lives for the national construction and defense cause; educate them about revolutionary tradition, patriotism, national pride and responsibility in the current context…
*TDM city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on July 24, held a get-together for Chinese policy beneficiary families.
At the get-together, they heard a brief report on some achievements done by the city in the task of taking care of policy beneficiaries over the past time. They were also presented gifts worth VND800,000 each from the city’s FFC.
*On July 25, Phu Giao district’s Youth Federation and Young Physicians Club jointly provided free medical check-ups and medicine for war invalids, veterans and former youth volunteers in An Binh commune.
The delegation also gave gifts for 50 policy beneficiaries in the commune. It is known that the program has a total expense of VND10mln, funded by members of the district’s Youth Federation and Young Physicians Club.
