The Women’s Union of Dinh Hoa ward in TDM city has just held a get-together to mark the 105th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the 1,975th anniversary of the two Trung sisters’ Uprising and kicked off a “Ringing the Golden Belt” contest on the Party, Uncle Ho and the Vietnam Women’s Union.
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the significance of International Women’s Day and the result of the local women’s patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2010 and 2015. Over the past years, the ward’s Women’s Union mobilized cadres and members to effectively realize the emulation movement of “Women actively study, creatively work and built up happy families” in association with the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”, actively contributing to realizing the local tasks on socio-economic development…
On this occasion, the ward’s Women’s Union held a “Ringing the Golden Belt” contest on the Party, Uncle Ho and the Vietnam Women’s Union to make propaganda and education of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Uncle Ho’s life, revolutionary cause and exemplary morals; the role and position of Vietnamese women in the period of national industrialization and modernization.
*On this occasion, TDM city’s Chanh Nghia ward held a competition on “Educating mothers for bringing up good children”, “Education of Vietnamese women’s virtues in the period of national industrialization and modernization”.
The competition absorbed 60 candidates from the local Women’s Union branches. They experienced 3 test parts with main contents: knowledge on logically bringing up children, nutrition for children, healthcare for mothers and children, health and nutrition for pregnant women, how to prevent common diseases in children; how to build up well-off, equal, advanced and happy families, gender equality, family violence prevention, morality, lifestyle…
It aimed to boost propaganda work on raising the role and position of Vietnamese women in family and society, well realizing sustainable gender equality.
*On March 7, the Women’s Union of Lai Thieu ward in Thuan An town held a get-together to commemorate the 105th anniversary of International Women’s Day and a cooking contest named “Fathers’ talent”.
The emulation movements of women in Lai Thieu ward, especially the emulation movement of “Women actively study, creatively work and build up happy families” in association with “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings” constantly developed over the past time. Many exemplary role-models in the local women’s movements were discovered. At the get-together, leaders of the ward also sent the best wishes and fresh flowers to the local women.
On this occasion, the ward’s Steering Board of the Project 704 on Educating mothers for bringing up good children between 2010 and 2015 kicked off a cooking competition named “Fathers’ talent”.
The competition lured nearly 40 male candidates from 16 teams. They experienced 2 test parts, including knowledge on bringing up good children, women’s role…and cooking. After one hour, 16 participating teams fulfilled their test parts.
