Activities marks 121st anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birthday

 TDM town’s Culture-Sports Center organized art performance programs to mark the 121st anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday in Phu My and Phu Loi wards on the evening of May 17 and 18. In addition to songs in praise of Uncle Ho, there were many songs and small sketches disseminating information about the elections of the 13th NA and the People’s Councils at all levels.

 

Many art performance programs commemorating the 121st anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birthday are taking place across the province

 A “don ca tai tu” (southern folk opera) program entitled “Dem thang 5 nho Bac” (Remembering Uncle Ho on the night of May) was organized at Tan Uyen district’s Culture-Sports Center on May 18 with performance of “don ca tai tu” clubs from Dong Nai, Di An and Tan Uyen.

 Provincial traditional singing-dancing troupe also performed many songs in praised of Uncle Ho on the occasion of the 121st anniversary of his birthday via its art performance programs disseminating information about the upcoming elections and celebrating the 4th Week for Young Workers of the districts and town.

It is expected that tonight, May 19, provincial Culture Center will hold a music and film show at its outdoor center with performance of singers, actors and actresses from provincial mobile propaganda squad.

 To celebrate the election day of the 13th NA and the People’s Councils at all levels and the 121st anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, since April 1, provincial Library has held an exhibition on new and good books about the history of Vietnam, the Election Law, Uncle Ho…, absorbed large crowds of readers.

Following the above activities, Thuan An town’s Youth Union will hold a conference to partially review the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh” campaign among the local youths on May 19. The town’s Youth Union will also team up with the town’s People’s Committee to launch a tree-planting ceremony at An Phu garden.
