The People’s Committees of communes, wards also responded to the campaign by making environmental hygiene, eradicating illegal advertising boards on streets, clearing canals…Particularly, Lai Thieu ward’s functional forces cleaned up the area at the back of Becamex hospital and the old Thien Phuoc pagoda with more than 400 participants. Leaders of the ward’s People’s Committee also instructed 9 quarters to clean up and eradicate illegal advertising boards on streets.
In Hung Dinh ward, the local functional forces and people joined hands to collect 8 tons of waste on Chom Sao canal and cleaned up streets of 1.3km. Similarly, the People’s Committee of Binh Chuan ward also hung propaganda panels on environmental protection on streets or at the headquarters of quarters; mobilized people in 5 quarters to tidy up 12 streets with more than 300 participants…
