As planned, provincial Labor Union will put focus on three big matters, including presenting gifts to needy workers who are unable to return home for Tet. It is expected that there will be 5,700 gifts worth VND500,000 each given for these workers.
Provincial Labor Union will also organize Tet holidays trips home for needy workers. Till now, the whole province has had more than 6,000 free return tickets for workers with permanent residence from Phu Yen to provinces in the northern region. Eventually, provincial Labor Union will team up with provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism to hold 10 art performance nights for alien and poor workers
Who are eligible for receiving Tet holiday trips home?
Eligible people are trade union officials and members who have excellent performance with two working years and above, and difficult circumstance; those who suffer from labor accidents, traffic accidents with the ratio of loss in health reaching 31% and above; those who regularly face diseases or have ill children with long-term treatment.
On this occasion of Tet, it is very difficult to buy coach or train tickets, so what has province Labor Union planned to ensure safety for workers when returning home for Tet.
As of now, provincial Trade Unions at all levels have been thoroughly grasped a plan registering to buy Tet coach or train tickets for workers. Provincial Labor Union has also braced up businesses to make this by themselves, but need to be more careful to ensure safety for workers when returning home for Tet…
So far, have businesses announced the Tet bonuses 2012 for workers?
This is because economy this year has faced difficulties, so there have not yet been businesses to announce their Tet bonuses for workers. They are balancing their income and expenditure. But, in the face of the labor shortage, I think businesses will have suitable policies on the Tet salary and bonus for laborers in order to draw laborers for going back to work after Tet.
