Activities take care of the poor on Tet

 Early February 2, provincial Sponsoring for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients in collaboration with provincial Businesswomen Association offered Tet gifts worth VND600,000 each to 400 disabled people and orphans on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018.

The association has so far also received 3,400 Tet gifts worth VND1.2billion from organizations and individuals. These gifts will be offered to disadvantaged people ahead of December 28 of lunar calendar.

*The same day, leaders of Thuan An held a delegation to visit, extend Tet greetings and offer 1,255 gifts worth VND500,000 each to alien poor workers on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018.

*Trung Thao Electronic Center has just coordinated with provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients to present 150 Tet gifts to disadvantaged people in Thuan An town’s An Thanh ward and An Son commune with a total expense of VND80million.

Prior to that, the center also teamed up with the association to hand over 2 charity houses to the family of Nguyen Thanh Phong in An Thanh ward and the family of Pham Thi Cai in An Son commune.

*On the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, TDM city held a ceremony to hand over 2 “great unity” houses, funded by Agribank’s TDM branch to the family of Tran Van Hien and the family of Tran Thi Mui in Tan An ward.

*Phu Giao district’s Fatherland Front Committee also donated a “great unity” house to Tran Van Hai, a poor resident in An Thai commune. The 56.6 sq.m-house has a total construction cost of VND75million, including VND50million from Agribank’s Phu Giao branch.

*On this occasion, the Red Cross Society of Vinh Hoa commune in Phu Giao district also handed over a “red cross” house to Nguyen Van Dung, a poor member. The 40 sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND55million, comprising of VND50million from Thai Son Thu Co.Ltd.
