Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has just donated 250 gifts worth VND350,000 each, including rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodle, soya sauce.. to poor and near-poor households. These gifts were funded by the Executive Board of the town’s Buddhist Sangha.
*Tan Uyen town’s Red Cross Society has just offered 50 Tet gifts worth VND350,000 each, comprising of rice, sugar, seasoning powder, salt, cooking oil, soya sauce to needy households in Phu Chanh commune.
The society also donated a “Red Cross” house to Dang Van Long, born in 1974, residing in Phu Tho hamlet in Phu Chanh ward. It is known that the 75-sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND110,000, including VND50 million from the family of Huynh Van Tam and the remainder from his family.
*Binh Duong Medic General Hospital has just coordinated with Sen Vang charity club, provincial Businesswomen’s Association and Young Entrepreneurs ‘Association together with organizing the “Beloved spring” program 2020.
On this occasion, the hospital and donors offered 420 gifts worth to the local poor-but-excellent pupils, needy teachers, handicapped and lonely people. The hospital also provided free eye check-up, glasses for hundreds of poor patients. In addition, donors and some units offered hundreds of gifts to disadvantaged people at the event.
*Early January 18, TDM city’s Youth Union worked with Hoa Phu ward’s Youth Union to organize the “Tet feast-sharing love” program and offer gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances, absorbing nearly 100 young workers.
On this occasion, Hoa Phu ward’s Party Committee, People’s Committee donated 30 gifts to young workers who are not able to return home for Tet. Participating workers also had a chance to take part in the “beloved lucky money”, lucky draw programs with attractive gifts.
