Under the project of “Gathering young workers in the 2011 and 2015 period”, provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union have held a lot of substantial activities for young workers, including folk games, film shows on traffic safety... Its affiliates have taken initiative in organizing cultural-art performance programs for young workers at weekends.
What did provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union do to create useful playgrounds for young workers after hard working days?
Provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union and its affiliates visited and presented gifts to hundreds of privileged families, sub-unions for lodging young workers, workers who cannot return home for Tet. This year, provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union built 5 houses of compassion for poor youths; organized 8 consultancy programs on drug, prostitution and HIV/AIDS prevention and reproductive health for young workers…
The Youth Union also set up the “Initiative-Creativeness” fund and the “Outstanding young laborers” award for youths who get excellent achievements in labor and creativeness. Under the “Youth’s creativeness” handbook, there were 75 subjects and initiatives on technological innovation, helping province-based businesses save billions of dong.
How is provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union’s plan to take care of young workers during Tet?
Provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union expects to organize many meaningful activities for workers who are not able to return home for Tet.
Apartedly, the Youth Union will visit and present 100 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each to its affiliates; pay gift visits to soldiers stationed at the Border Post 779 in the southern province of Binh Phuoc; hold a program named “Gap go dau xuan” (Meeting in early spring) between businesses and youth union-associations’ officials…
The annual activities to welcome New Year will be also organized by the affiliates of the Youth Union.
