2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival is coming, authorities at all
levels of Binh Duong are preparing many programs to take care of laborers
during this festival. To know more about the 2014 Tet programs for young
workers, Binh Duong Daily had an interview with Nguyen Pham Duy Trang,
Secretary of provincial Youth Union.

Who will enjoy provincial Youth Union’s support programs during the 2014 Tet festival?
Along with propaganda activities, provincial Youth Union will give financial support of VND1mln each for around 50 outstanding sub-unions for young workers to organize Tet celebrations for those who cannot return home for Tet.
Provincial Youth Union will also consider and present Tet gifts to alien young workers with extremely difficult circumstances; visit and donate Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to young workers who are not able to return home for Tet; visit and give Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each for 1,721 outstanding secretaries of sub-unions for alien young workers and outstanding heads of clubs for young workers at lodging facilities.
Moreover, provincial Youth Union in conjunction with provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association and Young Physicians’ Club will implement many Tet practical programs for young people. Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee will organize a delegation to visit and work with the local Youth Union branches, directorates and Youth Union branches of some outstanding non-State enterprises; visit and extend Tet greetings to grassroots Youth Union officials who are in charge of uniting and gathering young workers…
How will provincial Youth Union’s activities taking care of young workers during this year’s Tet be implemented?
Provincial Youth Union always defines that taking care of alien young workers is a deed full of humanity. Accordingly, many activities in celebration of Party and New Year for them are regularly held across the province. This is also the period young workers need to get help from the community. Hence, we always attach special importance to effectively organizing activities to take care of young workers during Tet.
This Tet, provincial Youth Union will diversify activities to take care of young workers and they will begin from January to February of lunar calendar.
Which activities will provincial Youth Union step up to take care of young workers on the occasion of Tet?
In addition to young workers, provincial Youth Union’s Tet support programs will be for many others, including poor pupils and students, alien young workers with extremely difficult circumstances, those who are in charge of young workers at communal level…
Main programs at provincial level include a program “Lighting up the dreams of young workers”, a festive day for young workers at industrial parks, volunteer spring programs, art performances, programs providing free medical check-ups and medicine for young workers…
Provincial Youth Union has entrusted provincial Support Center for Young Laborers with a task of launching and implement a program of socialization of offering free Tet coach tickets for outstanding young workers. Accordingly, provincial Youth Union will strive to give at least 500 coach tickets for young workers returning home for Tet…
With the integral efforts by provincial Youth Unions at all levels, it is believed that taking care of young workers on the occasion of the 2014 Tet festival will reap good results, contributing to making good impressions about Binh Duong homeland on alien young workers.
