To cater for local people in Lunar New Year 2011, mark the 81st anniversary of Vietnamese Communist Party (Feb. 3, 1930-2011) and to create emulation ambience for 2011, the provincial People’s Committee issued plans on holding activities for welcoming Party and Lunar New Year 2011.
Accordingly, activities welcoming Party and Lunar New Year 2011 will include a special music show to be held at local Culture Center on Feb. 5, 2011. Spring Flower Festival will be organized at Thanh Le Culture Park from Feb. 1-7, 2011.

Many activities welcoming Lunar New Year 2011 will take place across province.
At the local Culture Center: a music show welcoming the success of the 11th national party congress will be held on Jan. 19, 2011. From Jan. 17 to Feb. 15, 2011, the provincial mobile information team will perform 20 music shows to cater for immigrant workers staying for Tet. A dragon dance will be also held on Feb. 6-8, 2011…
At the local library: a Spring Newspaper Festival will take place on Jan. 25-Feb. 18, 2011 at local library and Thanh Le Culture Park. Besides, a book exhibition on the Vietnamese Communist Party and film screening will serve for local readers and people.
From Jan. 23 to Feb. 12, all level divisions of Culture and Information will hold 11 music shows for immigrant workers across industrial parks and compounds.
A mobile film screening will be held across localities before, during and after Tet. A photo exhibition on Vietnamese Communist Party will take place from early Jan to late Feb. local Museum, traditional house and historic relics will often open to cater for tourists before, during and after Tet.
In addition, the province will mobilize local travel companies and tourism sites to hold services for tourists.
A music show to welcome Party and Lunar New Year 2011 will take place in the front of Phu Cuong ward People’s Committee on Jan 21. Meanwhile, music shows and dragon dance will take place at Thuan an district on Jan 30. A firework festival will be also held at Thuan An Hoa base-war on Feb. 2.
A New Year Eve music show and sports festival will be also organized at Di An district whilst a Lunar New Year’s Eve festival will take place at Phu Giao district Center for Culture and Information on Feb. 2 evening. A contest of cooking Cylindric glutinous rice cake, folk games, art performance, dragon dance… will take place at Ben Cat district. A martial art performance, dragon dance, film screening, firework and so on will be held at Tan Uyen district on Lunar New Year’s Eve.
