The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Tan Uyen town organized the launch and put into operation of 6 more mobile medical stations in enterprises.
Accordingly, mobile medical stations numbers 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 operating in Uyen Hung ward and surrounding areas and mobile medical stations in enterprises at Vinh Tan ward, Tan Uyen town. Mobile medical stations were established on the basis of manpower and equipment of Chau Thanh - Nam Tan Uyen General Hospital (stations 15 and 16), Phuc Tam Phuc General Clinic (station 17), Nhan Duc - Saigon General Clinic (station 18) and Phuc Tam Polyclinic (station 19). All are under the management of the Medical Center of Tan Uyen town and the Health Division of Tan Uyen town.
Mobile medical stations in enterprises will serve the management and monitoring of people suspected of being infected with Covid-19 at businesses in the area and to assess the risk of disease transmission at enterprises in the ward. They implement epidemic prevention plans when there is any case of Covid-19 infection.
Besides, the mobile medical stations have to perform the task of testing for Covid-19; coordinate in implementing vaccination against Covid-19; establish communication about Covid-19 prevention at businesses; carry out examination and treatment of common diseases, chronic diseases, and periodical health for workers and employees.
Thus, up to now, Tan Uyen town has put into operation 26 mobile medical stations in 12 communes and wards, 19 mobile medical stations in enterprises and industrial parks and clusters. The mobile medical station is considered to be an effective model contributing positively to the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic in the town with a population of about 450,000 people, of whom, more than 50% are medical staff and production workers in more than 1800 enterprises located in the area.
