On December 29, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients organized a delegation to visit and offer Tet gifts to the local social support facilities and awarded scholarships to children at these facilities. Attending the delegation was Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Particularly, the delegation visited and donated Tet gifts to 4 social support facilities, including Thien Tam Vien Duc social support facility at Long Khanh pagoda in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Phuoc Khanh ward; “Mother's Shelter” social support facility”; “Thuan An Solidarity Group” charity house in Thuan An city’s Hung Dinh ward and provincial Association for the Blind in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Loi ward. The delegation gave each facility a Tet gift, comprising of VND 5 million in cash and some necessities.
On this occasion, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients also awarded 106 scholarships worth VND1million each, sponsored by provincial Fund for the Poor to children at the above facilities.
