To promote administrative procedure reforms, in terms of organization, we have conducted logical one-stop-shop reorganization of patient room, hospital fee collection chamber, medicine delivery chamber, clinics and labs. Specifically, patients shall enter the hospital through the reception and measurement of vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure). Then, the patients were transferred to the clinical room. There, the patient is checked by a doctor in clinical approach (if any) before being prescribed with treatments. The one-way trip from clinical room to hospital fee payment, and medicine department reduces travelling time.
Currently, the hospital has been equipped with information technology (IT) covering the management from reception of patients to pre-clinical performance, fee payment, medicine distribution, and all other management aspects of the Hospital. All are thanks to effective IT application. The application of IT has been helping the health care service of the Hospital to accelerate for better patients following-up and service quality.
"In September 2014, BDHNR was budgeted by PPC into an IT projects of the totally VND 5 billion. The project enabled availability of computer servers, LAN, automatic queuing system, bar-code readers, etc. Currently, the project has basically been completed, contributing effectively to the work of health care service and hospital management. The 2-month implementation of the project has brought up many positive effects. The patients expressed their sympathy and support, encouraging our staffs to get on in the face of reduced work pressure," said Hoa.
The effect brought up by promotion of administrative procedure reforms at BDHNR was that unworthy inconvenience was removed. The patients are also benefited by reduced waiting time and unnecessary travelling time. Hoa added: "We shall not stop at the existing achievements but we will strive for and improve all aspects in a bid of improving the quality of health care service offered to the patients and be worthy of their trust."
To meet the satisfaction of patients, along with the administrative procedure reforms, the hospital directorate also remind their staffs of code of conduct observation. Particularly, BDHNR has built up its regulations on duties of each staff. Such is the basis for them to carry out the work and conduct better patient services. And such is encouraging to the staffs. Pressure and hardship remains; however, for the sake of public health services, all the staffs of BDHNR are endeavored to devote.
