In recent years, the government and residents of Bau Bang District have implemented various initiatives to express gratitude and support for families of policy beneficiaries and individuals who have made significant contributions to the revolution. The "Repaying Gratitude" program is designed to remind the current generation of the sacrifices made by previous generations for the country’s peace and development.

Mr. Tran Duc Toan, in Cay Truong 2 commune, is a 4/4 disabled veteran. He was in difficult circumstances, had no land to build a house, his family had to live in a temporary house for a long time.
In Mr. Toan's situation, Mr. Le Van Thuan, a resident of Lai Uyen town, generously donated a plot of land measuring nearly 100 square meters in the Xa Mach quarter. This land, valued at 400 million VND, will enable Mr. Toan to build a new house. Additionally, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Bau Bang District provided 100 million VND to assist in the construction of Mr. Toan's home. This funding was generously contributed by the Steering Committee of Vietcombank – North Binh Duong Branch.
During the groundbreaking ceremony for the new house, Mr. Tran Duc Toan expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Today, thanks to the care and support of the government and generous donors, my dream has come true. I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone; this support from the government and my neighbors motivates my family to overcome difficulties and improve our lives.”
In recent times, Bau Bang District has effectively implemented the policies of the Party and the State, which has contributed to the gradual improvement of both the material and spiritual well-being of the people, especially those with revolutionary contributions and families of policy beneficiaries.
The Party committees at all levels, along with local authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in Bau Bang District, have closely coordinated their efforts to organize and provide care for war veterans, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and individuals with revolutionary contributions.
Namely, in 2024, Bau Bang district built 4 new houses, with a total value of 400 million VND; repaired 8 houses with a total value of 400 million VND; organized many delegations to give gifts to families of meritorious people on holidays and Tet. Particularly on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, from the central, provincial and local budgets and socialized sources, Bau Bang district visited and gave gifts to policy families and meritorious people with an amount of more than 3.5 billion VND...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai, former soldier of the Special Forces, currently living in Long Thanh hamlet, Long Nguyen commune, shared: “Families like mine are not only visited and given meaningful gifts on April 30 or July 27; throughout the year, we are also thoughtfully cared for by the local government during various holidays. All legitimate concerns and policies are addressed promptly and thoroughly, which makes us feel very appreciated.”
Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Chairman of the Bau Bang District People's Committee, stated that the "Repaying Gratitude" initiative has always received attention and support from the district and has been implemented regularly and effectively. “It is not only a responsibility and obligation but also a precious tradition of the nation. In addition to subsidies and allowances, Bau Bang always cares for meritorious people with health care policies; education and training support policies; meritorious people and their relatives are granted health insurance cards according to regulations. This is a great source of encouragement for policy families and meritorious people in the district to constantly strive and become shining examples in the community," said Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong.
Many meaningful activities
The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) - a brilliant and heroic milestone in the history of the Vietnamese nation. In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the country, the People's Committee of Bau Bang district has issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate this important event with many exciting activities, such as: organizing a contest to decorate propaganda speaker trucks; a program to exchange folk music, a cultural program to serve the people; organize a contest to "Propaganda and introduce books" in 2025... In addition, Bau Bang district also directed departments and organizations to organize students to visit martyrs' cemeteries; organize activities to return to the source at historical revolutionary sites, historical monuments of the locality...
These activities are designed to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere while fostering pride among all segments of the population. They aim to encourage, motivate, and uplift the entire Party, as well as the people and army, in their efforts to successfully advance the cause of national renewal. Moreover, this is an opportunity for all residents of Binh Duong, particularly those in Bau Bang, to take pride in their traditions, cultivate and promote the revolutionary spirit, and contribute to the development of their homeland and country.
