Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee made the statement at provincial conference reviewing the 15-year implementation of the “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle” movement in the period of 2000 and 2015.
After 15 year-implementation of the movement, many role-models were discovered in the province. The ratio of cultural households, hamlets and quarters surged 12.88% and 26.47% compared to 2000, respectively. The whole province now has a total of 57 hamlets and quarters winning the cultural title for 10 consecutive years and above. There was also a 25.17% increase in the number of cultural lodging facilities between 2011 and 2015…The “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential areas” campaign also promoted locals’ solidarity and mutual support in hunger eradication, poverty reduction, economic development, new rural and civilized urban construction, contributing to the local tasks on socio-economic development and national defence-security.
Speaking at the conference, Mr.Hung suggested authorities at all levels, mass organizations and Steering Boards at all levels to improve and speed up propaganda work about the movement; closely associate the movement with the the campaign of “All people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle in residential areas”; promote and made public socialization in the realization of the movement; uphold the effectiveness of cultural-sports institutions…
On this occasion, 156 individuals and collectives were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee; 70 quarters, hamlets and 20 lodging facilities with the certificates of merit of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; 39 collectives and individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial Labor Union…
