Early June 28, provincial Labor Union held a get-together entitled “Family meal full of love” for 150 families of officials of Trade Union locals at non-State enterprises on the occasion of Vietnam Family Day.
Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said that trade union locals have organized a lot of practical activities in response to Vietnam Family Day.
On this occasion, participating families had a chance to talk with Associate Professor-Doctor Huynh Van Son, a psychologist on “secrets to maintain family happiness” to build up a happy and warm family.
*On the morning of the same day, provincial Support Center for Young Laborers also kicked off the 2015 festival for young workers.
The festival absorbed 10 teams and they experienced 2 test parts, including cooking named “Delicious dish every day” within 60 minutes and aptitude performance such as singing, dancing…
Many other significant activities such as a talk show on skills to build up happy families, art performances, games on stage…were also organized during the festival
The festival aimed to honor the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families and it was also a chance for young workers’ families to exchange and share mutual experience in building cultural families towards sustainable development in the period of national industrialization, modernization and international integration.
*Binh Duong University has also just held a talk show themed “Women’s love, self-defence and social issues in market-oriented economy” for its staff and students, which was delivered by Roxama Marie Watson from U.S’s Hope Unending Organization.
Mrs.Roxana Marie Watson is a person full of experience in consulting issues on marriage and family, pain and suicide prevention…In Vietnam, she is the founder cum director of Hope Unending Organization.
At the talk show, she made mention of things done, helping women get a healthy and useful life; raised public awareness of human trafficking and sexual abuse, especially prevention of domestic violence against women…
