“Nhiet huyet tre” (ardour of youth) skills club in TDM city’s Hiep Thanh ward was established in 2008 with the hope of creating an useful playground for youths, making contributions to the society’s development.

“Nhiet huyet tre” club has always received enthusiastic support from many
youngsters. The club now has 40 members with a lot of significant fields in uniting
and gathering youths, realizing voluntary activities for the sake of the
community, getting involved in the movement “paying debt of gratitude”… 
A meeting of the club at Thanh Le Cultural Park
Members of the club regularly gather at Thanh Le Cultural Park on Sunday mornings. At the weekly meetings, Nguyen Minh Tan, the founder of the club is responsible for guiding members about necessary skills on time management, public speaking, working in group, folk games…For high results, the club’s skills-training programs are implemented very professionally. Do Van Thanh said that he felt more confident and mature when attending the club’s programs with such good preparation.
To club head Nguyen Minh Tam, he regularly innovates the club’s programs while organizing contests on skills learnt among youngsters so that they could attend contests for skill trainers at higher levels, helping them get more mature and be in the vanguard of the local Youth Union activities and social charity ones.
Towards community
Along with training skills for members, the club has actively got involved in social charity activities for the sake of the community.
Noticeably, members of club has visited lodging facilities and mobilized people with illiteracy to attend a charity class set up by Hiep Thanh ward’s Youth Union in January. The class now lures 60 members, including 20 adults. All costs of the class is funded by members of the club.
Members of club has also taken part in the local social activities such as making hygiene environment; mobilizing pupils, students to teach at the charity class…Mr.Tam said: “Through social activities, members of the club will know more about the value of youth in order to pay more attention to unfortunates. Many members were vagabond youths in the past. But after joining the club, they have found out the life values for them and society”.
