Early February 2, provincial Literature and Arts Association held a get-together for artists on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020.
Provincial leaders present flowers as congratulation to the local artists
The event was attended by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission; Nguyen Huynh Dinh, Vice-Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
In 2019, the association reached major results. The association encouraged members to take part in many activities such as the Huynh Van Nghe literature award, photography exhibition themed “Binh Duong on way of development”, popularization on literary, press, art works under the theme of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle”…In addition, the association organized field trips to historical relic sites, new-style rural communes…, thereby contributing to orienting thought, inspiring feelings and creativeness among artists.
Addressing the event, Mr.Liem spoke highly of contributions by the local artists over the past time. He also wanted that they will continue making solidarity, creativeness and improvement in order to bring about more practical contributions to the local development in the coming time.
