Arts and literature contest on “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” absorbs 432 works from 130 authors

The arts and literature contest with the theme of “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” was one of the activities aimed at effectively promoting the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW in the province over the past time. After the competition was launched, the first phase of the competition from 2020 to 2022 organized by provincial Literature and Arts Association attracted 190 works from 62 authors. The organization board of the competition awarded 6 second prizes without the first prize, 6 third prizes, and 21 consolation prizes to authors whose works excelled in various categories.

In the second phase from 2023 to 2024, the competition attracted 242 works from 68 authors. As a result, the organization board awarded two first prizes to painter Pham Thi Hong Xuyen for her work "Cham chi” (Diligence) and photographer Bui Duy Thanh for his work "Guong sang” (Bright Example). Additionally, the organization board presented 6 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 23 consolation prizes to authors with outstanding works across various categories.

After its two phases, the competition attracted 432 works from 130 authors in five categories, including literature (prose, poetry), fine arts, music, photography and stage.
