In the stage of industrialization and modernization of the nation, enterprises are in dearth of high-quality human resources to meet the work demands. Responding to the contemporary development, Thu Dau Mot University has carried out on-demand training for the society.
Thu Dau Mot University is in charge of multi-sectional training to develop human resources of junior college, college, university, and postgraduate qualifications to satisfy the industrialization and urbanization of the province and the nation. To satisfy the labor needs of units and enterprises, the university adjusts the curriculum while mobilizing faculties to construct curriculum by CIDIO approach.
Aiming for supplying human forces for industrial development, the university has develped training scale and departments. Up to date, the university is training 5 postgraduate, 22 graduate, and 6 college departments. Besides, the university has signed training cooperation with 2 agencies and enterprises. Currently, the university has signed the same cooperation with Department of Information and Communication.

And, as far as the actual social needs are concerned, the university in 2014 has signed cooperation agreements with Binh Duong Industrial Parks Authority and Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Authority. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep, the President of Thu Dau Mot University appreciated that 1-year implementation of the signing in the sense of human resource supply to satisfy the promotion fo industrialization and modernization. The two authorities have sponsored intership for students in enterprises, servicing the training cause of the university. The university and the two authorities have introduce various graduates to enterprises by their requirements.

Apparently, today students are not only equipped with necessary knowledge but also engaged in reality to experience their learnt knowledge. In 2014-2015 school year, to help student learn more about their fields, the two authorities have helped the university to contact 4 enterprises offering guidance to over 400 students of non-pedagogic departments to carry out internship. As for internship, the university will be in two months in advance notifying the authorities, agencies, and enterprises of the quantity and departments of the students to obtain help from enterprises. Accordingly, 449 enterprises have received over 3,200 students in internship. The companies such as Kaiser Furniture JSC, Liwayway Saigon Food Industry, etc. have employed some of such students after their internship.
After years of learning and studying, the students are in yearning wish to find their suitable jobs on graduation. On knowing their wishes, the faculties have organized events of job fairs for them to participate under monthly organization of provincial Center of Job Services. The university also predicts the number of graduates from 2015 to 2018 for agencies and enterprises to organize job fairs for those of graduation preparation. By the investigation of the university, by May 2015, 80.1% of graduates in 2014 have found their jobs after 1 year. The university has also introduced 529 graduates to enterprises at 41% of total graduates. Also by this investigation, many enterprises in industrial parks have employed them.
In 2015-2016 school year, the two authorities have enhanced the introduction of regular enrollment departments of the university to factory workers in industrial parks. Reality work and internship of students in enterprises and employment of workers from the university graduates will be well implemented.
