Over the past time, Di An city’s Police Agency has organized many propaganda and training activities to improve knowledge and skills on fire prevention, fighting and rescue for people and businesses, contributing to limiting damage to a minimum level when fire or explosion incidents occur.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Duy Tung, Head of Di An city’s Fire Prevention-Fighting and Rescue Police Team said that since early this year, the unit has organized 103 legal propaganda sessions on fire prevention and fighting, attracting over 13,000 participants; implemented to sign 647 commitments to ensure fire safety on fire prevention and fighting for households with houses combined with production and business. The city’s police agency have also organized and launched 45 models on "Joint Family Group on Fire Prevention and Fighting" and 72 models on "Public Fire Fighting Points", thereby contributing to raising people's awareness and responsibility in fire prevention-fighting and rescue.
In the inspection of fire prevention-fighting safety, the city’s Police Agency made inspection tours at 774 establishments, gave 3,857 instructions to ensure fire prevention-fighting safety and 267 recommendations while dealing with 179 establishments with violations with a total fine of nearly VND 1.3 billion. The city’s Police Agency also inspected 40,301 out of 40,301 houses and 13,859 out of 13,859 houses combining production and business (or 100% of total) and opened the second exit of 3135 out of 3245 houses (or 96.61% of total).
In addition, the city’s Police Agency coordinated with 54 establishments to practice anti-fire plans of the Fire Prevention-Fighting Police Department; guided 214 establishments how to organize anti-fire plans.
