Early April 19, Ben Cat town’s People's Committee awarded the awards ceremony of contests on composing songs, designing logos and creating artistic photos and photo essays on the 10 year- achievements of the local economic, cultural, social development, national defense and security development; composing songs about the town.
After many months of launching the contest, the organization board received 280 logos, 3 of which were selected for prizes. The first prize-winning work belonged to author Ho Sy Khai, who harmoniously combines many unique features and characteristics of Ben Cat town as well as the upcoming Ben Cat city. Regarding the contest of creating art photos and photo essays with more than 200 entries, the organization board selected 26 winning works, with 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 20 consolation prizes. The first prize-winning work went to author Tran Giang Tien, with the theme of "Ben Cat Star".
In terms of the contest writing songs about Ben Cat town, the Organization Committee received 27 entries and selected 8 typical works for prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 1 third prize and 4 consolation prizes.
