Over the past time, the town’s Women’s Union implemented many good ways, contributing to taking care of the local women while making contributions to the local socio-economic development. The town’s Women’s Union also effectively carried out many emulation movements, especially those in taking care of the local women’s legitimate rights and interests.
On this occasion, the Women’s Union branch of the town’s mass organizations bloc made its debut (photo). The awards ceremony of the local Women’s Union’s writing contest named “For you being mothers’ pride” was also organized.
The contest received 675 entries from women across the town after two-month launching. Finally, the organizers awarded one first prize, two second prizes, five third prizes and twelve consolation prizes to outstanding individuals. The prize for the unit with the most entries went to Lai Thieu ward’s Women’s Union.
