The event was attended by Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education Commission; Truong Van Chuan, member of Vietnam Journalists Association Standing Board, Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper; Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of provincial Journalists Association together with award winners and contest sponsors.
Although only being launched for a short time (from October 15 to November 25, 2022), the writing contest had great pervasion with a large number of entries. Specifically, the organization board of the contest received 789 entries, including 714 writings and 75 video clips from organizations, mass organizations, localities, schools and individuals in and out of the province. Especially, there were very young authors, veterans, retired officials and authors from other provinces and cities also participating in the contest. As a result, the organization board awarded 23 prizes to authors. The first prize of the writing belonged to Hoang Duc Thuan from Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company. The award for making the highest quality video clip went to Tam Trang with the work "Binh Duong in my eyes" and the group of authors Hai Dang - Quynh Anh with the work "One hundred years echoing a whistle".
On this occasion, Binh Duong Newspaper also rewarded and awarded the title of "Excellent Writer" to 3 reporters in 2022.
