Early April 17, Bau Bang district’s People's Committee organized a gift-giving event for people with disabilities, orphans and disadvantaged children in the district.
At the event, leaders of Bau Bang district extended best regards to people with disabilities and disadvantaged children while encouraging them to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. They also called on commune and town authorities to create the best possible conditions for children with disabilities to study, play, develop comprehensively and integrate into the community.
On this occasion, Bau Bang district presented 100 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, including essential goods and cash, to people with disabilities and disadvantaged children in the district. Among these, 40 gifts were designated for recipients in Lai Uyen town. The remaining 60 gifts were handed over to the six communes in the district to be distributed to local recipients. The total value of the donation drive was VND 50 million.
