On March 31, Bau Bang District’s Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses started construction of new houses and repair of houses for two poor households in Tru Van Tho Commune.
The newly built house is for the family of Mrs. Tran Ngoc Loan in Hamlet 1, Tru Van Tho Commune; the repaired house is for the family of Mrs. Dang Thi Bich Ngoc in Hamlet 2, Tru Van Tho Commune. Both families are poor households, have extremely difficult circumstances in the commune. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Luan, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee, sent his regards and encouraged Ms. Loan and Ms. Ngoc's families to overcome difficulties and improve their lives. At the same time, 100 million VND was given to Ms. Loan's family to build a new house and 50 million VND to support house repairs for Ms. Ngoc's family.
In response to the nationwide movement aimed at "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, People's Committee of Bau Bang District has developed a plan to build two new houses for meritorious contributors to the revolution who are facing difficult housing circumstances. The committee also aims to complete the construction and repair of at least 50% of houses for the poor and individuals in especially challenging situations within the district by April 30, 2025; the plan includes the repair and construction of a total of 76 houses by June 30, 2025.
