Dinh To Ha, a donor in Tan Hung commune’s hamlet 1 in Bau Bang district offers 30 gifts worth VND300,000 each to needy cases
Along with propaganda activities, the commune’s FFC mobilized organizations, donors to offer help to needy cases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice-Chairman of the communal People’s Council, Chairman of the communal FFC said that over the past days, many organizations, individuals in and out of the commune worked with the communal FFC to donate gifts to poor households, lottery ticket vendors…, thereby contributing to sharing difficulties with them during the nationwide social distancing period for Covid-19 prevention.
The district’s FFC has opportunely disseminated documents of the Party, Government, central FFC, the province, the district and the health sector’s recommendations on Covid-19 prevention among its branches. Tran Van Hung, Vice-Chairman of the district’s FFC said that the district’s FFC over the past time strengthened propaganda activities on Covid-19 prevention via the mass media…
In addition, the district’s FFC has actively mobilized agencies, units, organizations, enterprises and people to make contributions to the Covid-19 fight. The district’s FFC has so far received VND150million from organizations, individuals while mobilizing proprietors to reduce by 20%-50% of rent fees for 556 lodging rooms. The district’s FFC has also mobilized organizations, individuals to offer tens of thousands of medical and cloth masks together with 6,350 gifts worth more than VND300million to the local poor people and lottery ticket vendors.
Mr.Hung added that Bau Bang is a bordering district between Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces, so the district has well coordinated with Chon Thanh district in Binh Phuoc district in organizing quarantine, mobilizing people to raise their awareness of Covid-19 prevention and seriously implementing the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16 on social distancing.
In the coming time, the district’s FFC will continue teaming up with mass organizations, Party organizations, authorities at all levels to propagandize and mobilize people from all strata to take more drastic actions, joining hands with the whole country to prevent the pandemic, creating a motivation for the local socio-economic development as well as successfully organizing the district’s Party congress for the 2020-2025 period.
