On the afternoon of April 16, the Executive Board of Bau Bang district’s 12th Party Committee held its 39th open conference, in attendance of . Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education and Mass Mobilization Commission, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies.
The conference reviewed reports on Party-building activities, leadership over mass organizations and the Fatherland Front as well as the district’s socio-economic development, national defense and security, State budget revenue and expenditure, public investment in Q1 and plans for Q2-2025. In the first quarter, the Standing Board and Executive Board of the district’s Party Committee focused on leading and directing agencies, departments, Fatherland Front and mass organizations to care for the material and spiritual needs of people from all strata in the district. In general, the socio-economic situation of Bau Bang district continued developing, achieving and exceeding many targets and plans. The district’s political security, social order and safety were maintained and stabilized. In Q1, the district’s estimated value of industrial production reached VND 8,047.6 billion, an increase of 21.20% compared to the same period last year. The district attracted 5 newly registered projects with total investment capital of US$ 13.6 million. Additionally, 3 foreign-invested projects registered an increase in capital totaling US$ 24.418 million…
At the conference, Bau Bang district’s Party Committee also reported on the leadership and implementation results of provincial Party Standing Committee’s plans regarding the streamlining of the political system’s organizational structure to operate more efficiently and effectively. Accordingly, the work of thoroughly disseminating and propagating the policy of rearranging the apparatus of the political system was directed by the Standing Committee of the district’s Party Committee to be implemented promptly and effectively; promoting information, propaganda and mobilization work to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people, creating high consensus and unanimity on the policy of rearranging administrative units at all levels.
On this occasion, the Steering Committee for the implementation of research and reorganization of Binh Duong province’s political system also collected opinions on the proposed plans to reorganize provincial and communal administrative units, aiming at establishing a two-tier local government system in the province.
