Becamex Tokyu is joint venture between Becamex IDC and Tokyu Corporation with the aim of developing urban area at Binh Duong New City. This venture has gone into operation since March 2012 with 2 great projects, e.g. Binh Duong Tokyu Garden City invested $1.2bln and Becamex Tokyu Bus system, in order to create a civilized urban space for the young city.
Technology to develop modern urban space
After 18 months of construction, Sora Gardens 1 with 2 towers of 24 floors belonging to Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City has been completed. Modern apartments and accompanied utilities with “Japanese quality – Vietnamese culture” will be officially hand over to customers timely in November.
Since beginning of this year, especially after the new Administrative Center inauguration, number of visitors has increasing significantly, facilitating sale activities.

Tokyu is one top corporation of Japanese in urban construction, transport, supermarket retail… With over half a century experiences of urban development, at Japan, Tokyu built successfully Tokyu Tama Denen Toshi urban area that is one of the most beloved cities in Japan. Thereby, Tokyu sent a professional team to Becamex Tokyu to ensure quality of projects. In addition, Becamex Tokyu organized cultural exchange to strengthen the friendly relationship between Vietnam – Japan.
Becamex Tokyu General Director Nakata Yasuyuki said: “Up to now, apart from projects invested by Japanese government, Tokyu is the first Japanese corporation that made a huge investment in foreign country. We also the fist Japanese company that exports urban developing technology into Vietnam with the hope to build up a modern Binh Duong city directly under the Central before 2020”.
Continue to deploy new projects
After Sora Garden 1, separate low-rise housing project, linked houses and villas project were deployed to meet each customer’s demand. These projects will officially be sold in 2015. In addition, Becamex Tokyu will open a shopping center adjacent to the Administrative Center.
In the other hand, Becamex Tokyu Bus project went into operation on 20th September, absorbing public attention because of new style of service. These buses run continuously from 5am to 10pm, always ensure safety and punctuality. Routes were designed to connect TDM City and Administrative Center in BD New City, contributing to traffic order, encouraging people to use environmentally friendly vehicles.
Passenger 83-year-old Nguyen Thi Nan said, she liked these new buses, because it does not so full or crowded, has comfortable, cool seats, and staff is very kind.
