On Mar 8, Becamex Tokyu Bus Company organized the launching ceremony of 4 new urban rapid bus routes. Tran Van Nam, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nakashima, Japanese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, representing Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA; and Japanese Business Association attended the ceremony.
Opening new urban rapid bus routes
4 new bus routes include 3 routes running within Binh Duong New City and 1 route connecting TDM City with Binh Duong New City, VSIP 2 industrial park (bus no. 39), increasing the total number of urban bus routes managed by the company by 6 routes. All these buses are connected and go through Hikari transfer station located behind provincial Administrative Center.
With the slogan "Safety – Convenience – Responsibility” was drawn from Japan’s experiences in urban development combined with agement technology, modern transportation means, Becamex Tokyu rapid urban buses want to bring convenience to customers while travelling, contributing to transforming personal vehicles into public transport with a friendly, dynamic, clean and beautiful image; contributing to the development of civilized and modern Binh Duong City.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Liem praised efforts of all leaders and officials of Becamex Tokyu Bus to organize, operate urban bus routes, meet travel demands of civil servants, students, citizens by modern public transport. In the near future, Becamex Tokyu urban rapid buses will the choice of majority people for travelling.
