Noble is teaching. Therefore, on annual Vietnam Teachers' Day (20 Nov), the whole society honors teachers, who devote themselves for the education cause. On Teachers' Day this year, although the Education - Training branch did not hold big celebrations, gratitude activities to teacher took place throughout the province.

The beauty of teacher and student bond
The flag saluting ceremony on last Monday at Chu Van An Secondary School (Thu Dau Mot City) was very meaningful. Through songs, students expressed their gratitude to their teachers for giving them knowledge over the years. Students also took a contest to write beautiful letters, writing about the noble feeling of being a teacher. Student Do Nha Ky wrote: “The invaluable gift we give to our teachers is our maturity and success, so that later when we win glory, teachers could be proud of the students”.
Gratitude activities for teachers were carried out by students in many forms and took place throughout November. One of the ways students showed their gratitude to teachers was to make greeting cards, make wall papers, flower arrangements. Students of class 12A1 of Hung Vuong High School (Thu Dau Mot City) wrote emotional lines for respectable teachers: "Teachers are the second father and mother, who convey knowledge quietly but diligently, arduously but enthusiastically. With so much hardship, those loving hearts are always open to embrace generations of students”.
Activities to celebrate 20 Nov took place quietly in schools in the province. At Hung Dinh Primary School (Thuan An Township), last week students of all classes competed to make and perform flower arrangements for teachers. They paid homage to teachers in each greeting card through decoration details and their sincere thoughts. The most cards beautiful, meaningful greeting cards were chosen, together with gifts, presented to retired teachers. With the national tradition of being grateful to teachers, the younger generations of teachers always remember older generations of teachers that led them to mature. Therefore, annual Teachers’ Day is also an opportunity for those, who are teachers, to visit their retired teachers. This action is a lesson for students to follow and remember teachers’ devotion.
Nguyễn Thanh Hiền, Vice Principal of Phu An Secondary School (Ben Cat Town) said, she was very happy to have many graduates to visit her on this day. It is the emotions of students that have strengthened us to keep going on the path of cultivating young people”.
November is the month of gratitude. To turn towards Vietnam Teachers' Day (20-11 Nov), students at all levels in the province competed to study well. At Vo Truong Toan Junior High School (Di An Town), students strived to achieve many 10 points and good class hours. According to the school management board, since the launch of this emulation movement, students have tried to study hard so that their teachers would be pleased.
For the cause of cultivating people
With a noble mission, in recent school years, especially the school year 2018-2019, education and training branch in the province has made great progress. Educational quality has been testified. Binh Duong province are proud of good results at national excellent student exams in 2019, with 29 students winning prizes including one first prize for the first time, and 4 second prizes, 8 third prizes. This result is higher both in quantity and quality than of 2018. At the national exam of excellent students in science and technology, provincial students gained a second prize. At the 2019 National high school exam, 98.59% students graduated high school. Average score of Binh Duong was ranked 4 out of 63 provinces and cities across the country, especially the province was ranked second nationwide in English.
The whole community is proud of these results, and appreciates the selfless dedication of provincial teachers. Nguyễn Hồng Sáng, Director of provincial Department of Education and Training, acknowledged that teachers in all schools in the province dedicated wholeheartedly to the future of beloved students. Teachers keep researching, devoting all their heart to fostering students, helping the Education and Training branch to gain fruits. Students also strive to study well, many have accepted the challenging and meaningful training process to achieve high results in learning to express gratitude to teachers.
In this school year, the whole Education and Training branch continued to improve the quality of teaching and learning associated with innovation. This branch also focuses on improving qualifications of teachers, well implementing the innovation of educational methods, promoting creativity and self-study capacity of students.
