On the evening of January 12, Nguyen Van Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission; Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation and Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission visited and extended Tet greetings to workers with extremely difficult circumstances at provincial Culture-Labor Center on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020.

At the event, Mr.Binh extended Tet greetings to workers taking jobs in the province. He also emphasized that although facing difficulties, Vietnam last year reached great results. The country’s economy gained the highest growth over the past years with social welfare ensured, national defence-security strengthened. These achievements were contributed by workforce nationwide in general and in Binh Duong in particular. He also applauded Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with initiatives taking care of the lives of workers while wanting that workers in Binh Duong will continue well realizing labor disciplines; make efforts in improving their skills with higher productivity, quality, thereby making great contributions to the development of enterprises and the locality.
On this occasion, he wished workers across the province a warm and cozy Tet; donated 300 gifts worth VND1million to needy workers and 5 gifts worth VND5million to those with difficult circumstances.

Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said that the “Gathering in Tet holiday” program is a chance for the Party, government and people across the province to further share efforts in taking care of workers. Over the past time, the local authorities at all levels instructed agencies, sectors, departments to mobilize enterprises to take good care of workers… Binh Duong has always seen workers living away from home as locals, creating trust among them for better productivity.
In 2020, provincial Trade Unions at all levels will organize a “Sentimental bus” program with nearly 4,000 bus tickets for workers with difficult circumstances from Mekong Delta, central and northern provinces and cities. More than 100 enterprises in the province, namely Binh Duong Garment Joint Stock Company, Thien Nam Co.Ltd., Yazaki Eds Vietnam Co.Ltd., Chi Hung Co.Ltd., Shyang Hung Cheng Co.Ltd…., have also taken around 20,000 laborers home for Tet and supported bus tickets for tens of thousands of laborers.
