Building up harmonious, advanced labor relations

Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice-Chairman of Ben Cat town-based Ips’Trade Union said that so far, 136 out of 188 trade union locals have signed mass labor deals or 75% of total, contributing to raising employees’ spiritual and material lives. Trade Union locals also actively held dialogues between employees and employers. In 2014, the town-based Ips’Trade Union took part in contributing ideas to the working regulations and salary scales of 21 enterprises without trade union locals; successfully dealt with 22 labor disputes…The Trade Union also supported bus tickets for workers, provided them with trips to home for Tet, presented Tet gifts to those with difficult circumstances…
Propaganda promoted
In 2014, Ben Cat town-based Ips’Trade Union attached special importance to organizing talk shows on the State and Party’s policies and laws, comprising of the 10th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.20 on “Further building up Vietnamese working class in the intensified period of national industrialization and modernization”, the 11th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No.25 on “Improving Party leadership to public relations in the new context”, the 2012 Law on Trade Union, the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Health Insurance...
The Trade Union also continued effectively promoting “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” among employees.
According to Mr.Thanh, making law dissemination among employees has contributed to raising their awareness of the law. The Trade Union also improved its role as representative of protecting employees’ legitimate rights and interests.
“Improving Trade Union officials and employees’ awareness of law is to contribute to well realizing the function of the Trade Union in caring and protecting their legitimate rights and interests while upholding the role of the Trade Union in making policies relating to employees’ rights and interests”, he added.
