According to the project, the agencies that continue to maintain include: Justice Office, Finance - Planning Office, Inspectorate and Office of People's Council - People's Committee. The remaining agencies will reorganize similarly to the reorganization of central ministries, branches and provincial departments and branches.
Namely, merge Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Office and Home Affairs Office into Home Affairs Office; establish Agriculture and Environment Office on the basis of receiving functions and tasks of Natural Resources and Environment Office, functions and tasks of agriculture and rural development, natural disaster prevention from Economic Office and the task of poverty reduction from Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Office; establish Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas Office on the basis of receiving functions and tasks of advising on state management of construction, traffic, industry and trade from Economic Office and Urban Management Office; establish Culture, Science and Information Office on the basis of receiving functions and tasks of Culture and Information Office, functions and tasks of science and technology from Economic Office.
Health Office receives functions and tasks in fields of social protection, children and gender equality from Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Office. Education and Training Office takes over the function of vocational education from Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Office.
According to leaders of Ben Cat City People's Committee, the organization and streamlining of the apparatus is also an opportunity to review, evaluate and refine the actual staff of civil servants and public employees; at the same time, it is an important step to select personnel and arrange the organization before the City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
