On May 27, Ben Cat city’s Steering Committee for Youth and Children’s Activities held the opening ceremony for summer activities and launched the Action Month for Children, along with the communication campaign titled “Prioritize Resources to Fulfill the Goals for Children” in Ben Cat city in 2025.
The Action Month for Children is launched as a reminder of the attention and responsibility of all-level authorities, sectors and the whole society towards children. It is also an opportunity to bring about significant changes in awareness, vision and action for the “hundred-year cause of nurturing people”, which is crucial to the country’s development.
This year’s Action Month for Children is themed “Prioritize Resources to Fulfill the Goals for Children,” aiming to encourage all levels of government, sectors, organizations, parents, teachers, youth leaders, and society as a whole to give special attention and priority to children. The goal is to join hands in creating a safe, friendly, and healthy environment for every child.
At the opening ceremony, Ben Cat city presented 33 gift sets to disadvantaged children living in My Phuoc ward.
After the ceremony, a large contingent of Youth Union members paraded through key streets of the city with flags, vehicles and banners. The parade served to widely promote the Action Month for Children and the communication campaign of “Prioritize Resources to Fulfill the Goals for Children” in 2025.
