Reportedly, the town reaped achievements in the fight against drugs in the first half of 2015. After the ceremony, more than 200 Youth Union members took part in a parade and delivered propaganda leaflets in response of the National Anti-drug Day.
*A ceremony was also organized in Bau Bang district on June 26 in response to the National Anti-drug Day.
The situation of drug-related crimes in the district was still complicated over the past time. The local functional agencies also made efforts in the fight against drugs.
After the ceremony, more than 200 officials, members of mass organizations and pupils participated in a parade through the district’s streets and residential areas in response to the National Anti-drug Day.
*The same day, Phu Giao district’s Steering Board of Drug, Prostitution and HIV/AIDS Prevention in collaboration with Vinh Hoa communal People’s Committee grandly held a ceremony in response to the National Anti-drug Day (June 26), in attendance of more than 200 officials and members of mass organizations together with armed and police forces in the district.
The ceremony aimed to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of drugs; simultaneously enhance the responsibility of the local authorities at all levels in the fight against drugs.
After the ceremony, a parade through DT741 street in Vinh Hoa commune was also organized to propagandize the harmful effects of drugs and how to prevent them among people from all strata.
