Great Process Company's pioneer worker team take part in fire explosion prevention drills at the company.
To take part in eliminating social evils among workers
Phan Thanh Huy, pioneer worker team leader of Great Process Company (Protrade Industrial Park), said that the team understood that joining pioneer worker team is a gathering of strength and solidarity to jointly secure security, protect the company's assets and make everyone feel assured at work.
According to Huy, when there was no pioneer worker team, Human Resources Department had to regularly solve problems, such as fights and disturbances of workers at different lines. Workers even met ouside the company to solve conflicts. In 2019, the company selected elite, enthusiastic and responsible workers to establish a pioneer worker team, which had at first 11 members. Each member of the team was the leader of each production line, thus they easily grasped the actual situation. Therefore, when a problem or misunderstanding appeared, these leaders directly and quickly ascertained the siutation to address the problem.
Thanks to the effective operation of pioneer worker teams, one of the headaches in the company was eliminated, that is gambling among workers at lunch break. After lunch, some workers gathered in the hidden corners to play cards. When the pioneer worker team patrolled, if caught this, they then called Human Resource Department to handle according to the company's rules. "Also, thanks to the drastic enforcement of rules, so far unsafe situations and gambling in the company have been deleted, people feel assured at work," Huy said.
As the captain managing the dissemination of rules among members of the pioneer worker team, Le Thi Thuy, Quan Quan Company (quarter 3, Tan Dinh ward), said that when the company had not established a pioneer worker team, the local situation was insecure. Workers invited each other to bet, play cards, raw materials for production were often stolen. Therefore, when the Police of Ben Cat Town directed to establish a pioneer worker team, the company's board of directors immediately agreed with this. The company's pioneer worker team now has 18 members who split shifts to patrol the company out of hours. To encourage the team members, the Board of Directors equipped protective gear such as hats, shirts, bamboo sticks, flashlights. The team meets once a month for leaders to report on the situation. The team also set up a Zalo group to communicate directly, report quickly and coordinate with Human Resource Department to resolve conflicts among workers.
Periodically, the team is trained by the Police for professional skills, updated on scams and theft. In addition to protecting security and assets in the company, the pioneer worker team also take part in fire prevention and fighting and promptly extinguished small fire and explosion incidents caused by short circuits.
To scale up the pioneer worker team
Speaking about the pioneer worker team, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Head of Ben Cat Town Police, said that so far the town Police had established 157 pioneer worker teams in companies with 2,600 members to protect security in their place of work. In order to improve the operations of pioneer worker teams, the town Police organized periodic trainings, set up a Zalo group for members who are captains and vice-captains to discuss the security situation, disseminate methods, tricks, theft, acts vof intentionally causing injuries and how to identify fraudsters, law breakers. Members and workers who bravely denounce crimes will be protected by police forces to avoid retaliation.
According to Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, in order to grasp of the security situation among workers, the town Police directly came to businesses and companies to propagate laws and polices, pioneer worker teams patrolled, thereby limiting connections and stricks to steal assets of companies; security forces also heightened vigilance so that criminals do not mingle with crowds to steal property.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, pioneer worker teams have created the synergy and solidarity among workers to protect social security in companies, repel evils, build a safe working environment to facilitate production and increase income. Good implementation and scaling up of pioneer worker teams will be a highlight in the movement "All people protect the security of the Fatherland" contributing to protecting social order and safety, preventing crime and violations of law.
