To take care of union members and workers in the area on Lunar New Year, Labor Confederation of Ben Cat Town went to grassroots trade unions to present train tickets and buses to help workers returning home for the Lunar New Year 2024.
In the coming days, this unit will continue to make visits and give workers having difficult circumstances 1,000 gifts worth 1 billion VND financed by local State budget; 1,500 gifts worth 1.5 billion VND mobilized from socialization sources; awarded nearly 20,000 gifts worth nearly 9 billion VND using trade union funds. In addition, the unit has organized discounted sales, folk games, Tet feasts, and apricot and peach decorations on January 27 and 28 to create playgrounds for workers at the end of the year.
To bring Tet early to children of workers, Labor Confederation of Ben Cat Town coordinated with Provincial Labor Confederation, Labor Confederation of Tan Uyen City, and Asia Door Company to make visits and give gifts to children of workers in Ben Cat town. Namely, the delegation visited and gave gifts to 305 children of workers studying at 28/7 Kindergarten, each gift worth 365,000 VND.
