On September 9, Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union and Division of Natural Resources-Environment co-held a competition on “Women with environment”.
Accordingly, each commune, ward had a total of 3 candidates at the competition. The content of the competition focused on the issues of the Law on Environmental Protection, the Party and State’s resolutions and policies regarding environmental protection, especially knowledge on food safety and hygiene, climate change…The competition included two parts: multiple choice and presentation of initiatives on waste regeneration.
Finally, the organizers awarded first prize to An Tay. Second and third prizes went to Chanh Phu Hoa and Thoi Hoa. The competition was a chance for candidates to exchange and share experience in propaganda pertaining to environmental protection. It also helped members of the town’s Women’s Union to uphold their flexibility and creation in waste regeneration, bringing much benefit to the society.
