Ben Cat district’s People’s Committee forwarded a conference to assign 2010’s socio-economic development targets to sectors in the district.
Accordingly, Ben Cen district this year is estimated to reach VND33,142.7bln of total production value; its economic structure is about 87.05% of industry, 7.46% of services and 5.49% of agriculture. The average per-capita income in the district is expected to reach between VND24mln and VND25mln. Despite common hindrances, Ben Cat district still got stable growth in many aspects in 2009. Its industrial production value reached VND24,450bln, up 21.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2008; agricultural production earned VND1,820bln, down by 1.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2008.
