On October 16, Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union held a get-together to mark the 84th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930-October 20, 2014).
Attending the event were more than 100 cadres and members of the local Women’s Unions at all levels.
The get-together reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women over the 84 past years. Vietnamese women made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, beautifying a glorious page in national history and deserving the eight golden words of “heroism, undauntedness, loyalty and responsibilities” presented by Uncle Ho.
Women in Ben Cat town today have strongly upheld Vietnamese women’s good virtues to the cause of national development under the industrialization and modernization trend, contributing to promoting the development of Ben Cat town in particular and of Binh Duong in general.
Also at the get-together, Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union in collaboration with the town’s Labor Union organized a culinary contest themed “When men cook” with the participation of 9 teams from communes, wards and units across the town.
