At the meeting to deploy fire fighting and prevention (FFP) measures for wood processing and manufacturing enterprises co-organized by FFP Police and Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA), Le Van Minh, Member of BIFA Executive Committee, committed BIFA in collaboration with FFP Police to organizing seminars and training courses on FFP for wood processing enterprises at least once a year to equip enterprises with knowledge and improve their FFP capabilities. BIFA is willing to cooperate with FFP Police to inspect, rehearse and handle cases of non-compliance with fire safety regulations.
In 2017, BIFA’s exports reached the $8 billion for the first time, leading the country's timber industry and maintaining a stable annual growth rate of 12% to 15%, contributing to provincial socio-economic development. BIFA also hoped to be instructed and introduced by PC & CC Police to appropriate solutions and technologies to ensure safe and sustainable development.
