During November, provincial residential areas have organized “Festive day of Great national unity” in residential areas. This is a meaningful festival, a solid colloid to bind the community, creating synergy to carry out successfully socioeconomic development targets according to President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching “Unity, unity, great unity. Success, success, great success”.
In November of every year, provincial inhabitants get together with leaders at all levels to share and learn about achievements in economic, cultural, social aspects, especially, people aggregation for organizations.
In this year, Great national unity festive day in Binh Duong province has been held at more than 500 residential areas, commemorating the 84th Vietnam National United Front (18th Nov 1930 – 8th Nov 2014) and celebrating the success of Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.
During festive days, participants reviewed the glorious history of Vietnam National United Front, evaluated results of “All people unite to build cultural life at residential areas” campaign combined with construction of new rural, urban civilization; defined orientations, missions, improved quality of “All people unite to build cultural life at residential areas” campaign. This was also an opportunity for provincial leaders of all levels to learn about thoughts, aspirations of people; tighten ties with the people; strengthen the great national unity.
Mr. Phan Trung Toan, provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Standing Committee’s Member, to organize successfully the Great national unity festive day, the committee devised organization plans, cooperated with other agencies and sectors, gave instructions to organize the festive day, disseminated information on the day in the mass media.
The Great national unity festive day has become a meaningful activity, a festive day for the people. In addition to ceremony part, there were reports on socioeconomic results, emulation movements. Furthermore, cultural and artistic performances, folk games at the day attracted attention of majority people. These activities promoted leading role of organizations, created the great national unity to conduct successfully provincial targets.
