Binh Duong announces the 2024 Tet holiday schedule applied to students

Provincial Department of Education and Training has issued Official Dispatch No. 3172/SGDĐTVP announcing the 2024 New Year holiday and Lunar New Year holiday schedule applied to educational establishments in the province.

Accordingly, civil servants, workers and students in the education training sector has 1 day off for New Year's Day (January 1, 2024). For Lunar New Year 2024 holiday, educational institutions in the province will be off from February 5, 2024 (on December 26 of lunar calendar) to February 14, 2024 (on January 5 lunar calendar). Educational institutions will resume normal operations on February 15, 2024 (on January 6 lunar calendar). With this New Year holiday schedule, students in Binh Duong will have a 10-day New Year's holiday. Department of Education & Training also requires educational institutions to ensure the safety of their units before, during and after the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.

All educational establishments must fly the National Flag during these holidays according to regulations; organize activities to celebrate the Party and celebrate spring that are joyful, healthy, safe, economical, and avoid waste; seriously implement the Party and Government's directions, branch and local regulations; strictly prohibit gift giving in any form; organize activities, thoroughly disseminate State regulations among all officials, workers and students during the Tet holiday, ensuring safety in all aspects; propagate and remind students not to participate in forms of gambling, games with a high risk of injury, and not to use cultural products with unhealthy content... Immediately after the Tet holidays, educational units must urgently resume the normal teaching, learning and working routine.
