It is not only the house of dynamic women, who are good at business management; Binh Duong Businesswomen’s Association (BBA) is also a meeting place of compassionate hearts. Towards the community, business women have traveled all the way in and outside the province to hand over kilograms of rice, to every homeless shelter, and connect kind hearts.

Provincial Businesswomen’s Association presents a compassionate house to P ham Thi Ut's family in Chanh Phu Hoa ward, Ben Cat town.
Being dynamic, creative to help businesses develop strongly, the presence of businesswomen in the business world has contributed to creating strong enterprises, and made important contributions to the economy of the province and the country... Vu Kieu Nu, Chairwoman of BBA, shared: "In the difficult and challenging economic context, female entrepreneurs not only have passion, determination and energy but also keep actively learning to improve knowledge, skills to prove themselves in the market. Therefore, BBA actively carried out communication, equipped members with skills, knowledge and experience, helping businesswomen to approach and study effective business strategies, uphold national pride, build up the image of business women imbued with Vietnamese identities".
Besides the above main task, social activities concerned members of the association. With the kindness, they have come to the poor, disabled people, who need helps, to learn about their difficulties then to give the most practical support. To these women, sharing difficulties with the poor and disabled is a great happiness. Vu Kieu Nu said: "In 2018, despite economic difficulties, members of the association actively participated in social - charity works. During the year, they contributed VND1.2 billion to the association’s Charity Fund, but in fact, by the end of 2018, they contributed VND2.1 billion. This money was spent on building charitable shelters for poor women, to care for orphans and the disabled, to support the construction of roads and bridges for poor communes... In the 2019 plan, members registered to contribute VND1.8 billion to charity fund, surely by the end of 2019, the donation will be much higher.
According to Ms. Nu, one remarkable activity in charity work of BBA was the movement to build shelter for poor women, especially for female workers working in enterprises. Since the beginning of the year, the association has built 11 shelters, with total expense of VND570 million.
Pham Thi Ut (Quarter 9, Chanh Phu Hoa Ward, Ben Cat Town) was very happy, when receiving a new house. With her such difficult circumstance, to build a house with an area of 60m2 with coated walls, iron roof, ceramic-tile floor was her family’s dream. Understanding her situation, with a heart turning towards the community, business women in BBA helped her dream come true. Accordingly, the association supported to build a house with a total cost of VND50 million for Ms. Ut, helping her family settle down.
In addition to building compassionate houses, BBA also contributed hundreds millions of VND to care for the poor such as giving scholarships to poor pupils; visiting Vietnamese Khmer people, who were ravaged by fire, in Phnom Penh (Cambodia); organizing Mid-Autumn Festival for poor children... In particular, the association carried out a program of bridge and road construction for western provinces. Ms. Nu said: "Many western provinces are still very difficult. Rice, seafood, fruit are produced but limited because of production methods, especially in transporting goods as well as output value is still low. Therefore, when concrete bridges, rural roads were built, people were very happy. Bridges and roads have contributed to improving the lives of poor people in the countryside. It is also a meaningful activity of BBA to share difficulties with the community”.
